Devizes to Westminster 2014

Winter is here. Dark nights, challenging conditions day and night - perfect foundation for a solid preparation for Devizes Westminster International Canoe Marathon 2014 over Easter Weekend in April.

It is an extreme test of endurance, mental and physical stamina, self-awaress, planning and control. Easter in 2014 is late, so DW could be a little warmer than in recent years. But warmer weather brings more vegetation on the slow parts of the canal. If you're taking part, you should be preparing. Online entries should be online in early 2014.
